EDITING Editing involves finalising and perfecting your product by giving you time to also decide on what you want to keep or if anything needs changing. This is also used for the final steps of films or anything with imagery and sound to make sure everything is relevant or has purpose. transitions are also used in editing to show us how one shot changes to the other. Cross Cutting is also used along with CGI for special effects. Editing helps you understand the narrative of your product by arranging the footage. Post production editing is mainly used in exam questions Continuity Editing that is continuous in creating a narrative for the audience to understand. It appears to be invisible using cuts.
